The Light of Western Stars plot
"Flaming Guns... Flashing Hoofs... as knights of the sage-brush roar across the plains!"
East-born Madeline Hammond buys a ranch, unaware that Nat Hayworth uses it as a base to smuggle ammunition across the border. After some trouble, Hammond enlists the help of Gene Stewart, the former ranch foreman, who left the country after a fight with the sheriff. Stewart learns of Hayworth's shady dealings and forces him to blow up his stash. The sheriff, who is in conspiracy with Hayworth, is displeased that he is losing his earnings and has Hayworth killed. He then arrests Stewart for the murder of Hayworth.
