The King of the Wild Horses plot

Rex is a black stallion and the leader of a herd of horses near the border of Mexico. Cowboy Billy Blair is determined to catch the horse, but it always outsmarts him. During a forest fire, Rex is trapped, but manages to escape death with the help of Blair. Man and horse form a couple from that moment on. Ranch foreman Wade Galvin plays doubles as a horse thief and blames Blair for the thefts.
