The Great Meadow plot
"She Was Forced To Choose Between Two Husbands."
Virginia, 1775. Daniel Boone arrives in a small village in Virginia, where he talks about the state of Kentucky. Boone describes Kentucky as the promised land with lots of game and lush fields. As a result of this speech, a group of villagers, including newly married Berk Jarvis and Diony Hall, decide to take the 800-mile journey to Kentucky. However, the settlers' dream quickly fades into the harsh reality. The settlers face attacks from aggressive Native Americans, starvation, deaths and bad weather. After six months, they finally reach a fort in Kentucky. Most of the settlers build their homes and facilities outside the fort. Before long, they face attacks from Native Americans led by Chief Black Fox.
