The Desert Man plot

Jennie watches her father die because a doctor doesn't show up. He is punished by Jim Alton, but the doctor then enters into a romantic relationship with Jennie. She finds out that he is already married and then becomes a saloon dancer with Tacoma Jake, who has to stay out of town from Alton. Tacoma Jake seeks revenge by forcing Alton to let him in with his theater.
