The Cowboy and the Kid plot
"PALS! BUCK and a BOY!"
Completely penniless, hobo Steve Davis meets young Jimmy Thomas just after his father has died. The two befriend each other and Steve starts looking for work. This takes him to the town where teacher June Caldwell has loaned money from the school to the not quite honest Jess Watson. June desperately needs the loaned money, but attempts to get it back are in vain and Steve steps into the conflict.
