Brothers Mike and Tim McCall own a large ranch in Arizona and use the surrounding land to graze their livestock. Stanley Cox and LeRoy Stanton sell this land to settlers, but when they arrive they find that the land is completely dry. Among the settlers are John Dawson and his daughter Connie. Connie doesn't give up and gets Sheriff Ball in, but he says there's nothing he can do. Stanton then sets out to blow up the dam to destroy the McCall brothers' cattle, but is discovered by Tim McCall.
