South of Hell Mountain plot

"Their greed exploded point blank… shattering their lust into murder."

A bandit and his two sons raid a gold mine that ends in a veritable massacre with no survivors - except for the robbers. The three flee to Canada and stop at a small log cabin. It turns out that a woman and her stepdaughter live there. The further story is followed through the eyes of the stepdaughter, now a patient in a psychiatric hospital.
