Song of the Buckaroo plot
Texas Dan wants to go the right way, but is accused by Max Groat, an old acquaintance of Texas Dan, of the murder of Alden. Texas Dan assumes Alden's identity and decides to take care of his daughter. He becomes a widely respected banker and even becomes mayor. Tex becomes engaged to the attractive Evelyn, but that event is cruelly disrupted by Groat. Groat forces Dan to join in robbing his own bank.
