The nun Dulcina hires aging gunfighter Ben Sunday to help her escort a group of Apache orphans safe and sound to Colombine, Colorado. She has her eye on a church in the town that could serve as a shelter and school. When they arrive in Colombine, it turns out that the mayor has transformed the church into a saloon. Dulcina hatches a plan to use the church for her purpose, but will it work...?
