"A STORY OF STOUT WARM HEARTS...OF PEOPLE YOU KNOW OR HOPE TO KNOW"
Veteran rodeo rider Pop Miller and his grandson Gary Miller arrive in a small town with their horse Briar, injured in a rodeo. Local Reverend David Owens tends to Briar's injured leg. The affluent but selfish young widow Francis Crawford also lives in the town. She wants to marry David and although a marriage to the wealthy Francis would solve the financial problems of his church, David refuses to marry her because he is in love with her cousin Pamela Crawford. But David's financial problems seem to be solved after all when the healed Briar wins a race.
