Jim Grant is a railroad agent. Jim's help is enlisted by railroad foreman Homer Lathrop. He must investigate a series of attacks on the newly constructed rail network. The large landowner Karl Ulrich, alias 'The Baron', is behind these attacks together with his right-hand man Campo and his accomplices. They let the local Apaches, led by White Eagle, do the dirty work. Jim can count on the support of his faithful friend and prospector Rocky in solving the problems.
