Riders of Black River plot
"Guns Roaring the Doom of Rustlers! Rhythms Soaring to Western Skies!"
Former Texas Ranger Wade Patterson returns to his hometown. Wade finds that the area is in the grip of cattle thieves led by Blaize Carewe. Because the cattle thieves have housed the stolen cattle on the Holden Ranch, Sheriff Dave Patterson, Wade Patterson's brother, suspects ranch owner Linda Holden. When the sheriff is killed by the cattle thieves, his brother Wade goes after them and manages to capture Terry Holden and make him confess. Terry's sister Linda has nothing to do with the cattle thefts, Wade concludes and he will still have to take Blaize Carewe and the rest of his gang.
