Pillars of the Sky plot
"The story of a people's faith and the courage of a man they called Godless!"
In Oregon, in 1868, several Native American tribes are transferred to a reservation north of the Snake River. dr. Joseph Holden built a church there, and Sergeant Emmett Bell has been assigned to make sure everything runs smoothly. However, when the cavalry led by Colonel Edson Stedlow arrives and starts building a bridge over the river to build a road through the reservation, the Native American chieftains feel cheated.
