Outlaw's Daughter plot
Jess "Big Red" Raidley is the accomplice of aging outlaw Jim Dalton, who has retired from his criminal activities. However, Jess can't stop. When unlucky circumstances force Jess to kill Jim, his daughter Kate blames Marshal Dan Porter, without witnessing the murder or ever seeing the marshal. Kate moves to another town, where she meets Dan Porter and falls in love with him, but joins the newly formed outlaw gang around Jess Raidley when she learns who Dan really is. She continues to hold Dan responsible for her father's death. Kate sees Jess as a glorified thief, a sort of 'Robin Hood', but she quickly becomes disillusioned when she discovers Jess's true and despicable character. When Dan manages to track down Jess, Kate leaves the outlaw gang and seems willing to accept the consequences of her decision.
