One Man Justice plot
Texan Larry Clarke drives into the Arizona town of Mesa, where he recently sold his ranch. Several townspeople mistake him for Ted Crockett, who actually passed away five years ago. A bartender advises Larry to claim that he is indeed Ted Crockett so that he can count on the support of the law-abiding citizens. Both Red Grindy, the leader of the Mesa criminals, and Sheriff Ben Adams are misled by Larry's resemblance to Ted Crockett. However, Larry convinces Crockett's young widow Mary that he is not Ted. Larry finds that Mary's ranchers and Grindy's henchmen, with the exception of Neal King, are systematically stealing her livestock.
