Northern Patrol plot

Corporal Rod Webb of the Mounties, along with his faithful dog Chinook, finds a dead trapper. He allegedly hanged himself after writing a letter about his suicide. Webb determines that the trapper has died while preparing a meal and he strongly suspects that the trapper has been murdered. Webb's prime suspect is an attractive blonde dubbed the "Quebec Kid."
