Melody of the Plains plot
When Steve Condon and his cowboys attack Cass's cattle rancher, he thinks he mistakenly killed his associate Bud Langley. Sometime later, Steve and his faithful friend Fuzzy take a job at Billy Lanley's ranch. Steve finds out that Bud was his son. The outlaws Cass and Scar, who are hunting Billy Langley's cattle, tell him that Steve killed his son to get rid of him that way.
