Kit Carson plot

Kit Carson and Shuman are part of a peacekeeping mission in Blackfeet territory. One night in Taos, they get into a fight over a woman. The next morning, the men move on and Kit rescues an Indian chief's daughter from the clutches of a bear. This way the whites can make peace with the Indians. However, when Shuman attacks the daughter with a knife, that peace is threatened again.
