"New WESTERN THRILLS With That New COWBOY SENSATION!"
Remake of 'Call of the Canyon' from 1942. Rex Allen is the newly elected head of the ranchers' association. When Rex takes the rancher's merged herds to the nearest train station, he gets into trouble. The cattle transport is brought to a halt by Brock Stevens, whose father Charles is a powerful man in the meat processing industry and who also owns the local railroad. This allows him to deal ruthlessly with the local ranchers. Rex and the other ranchers are delighted when Brock agrees to a fair market price for their livestock, until they have to pay an exorbitant fee to load their herd, losing their profits. The only alternative is to take the herd to the main train line in Big Bow, but they can count on a tough action from Brock and his henchmen.
