When his brother is murdered, Whip Wilson impersonates Chris Graham. Whip tracks down old horseman "Trigger" Winks, who leads him to gang members Phil and Joe Rankin. The Rankins try to get the rights to the late Colonel Graham's ranch and have Winks impersonate Colonel Graham's brother. Marie Martel will get the ranch if Colonel Graham's relatives don't come forward.
