Gunfire plot

Jerry Dunbar, half owner of the Double D Ranch, is falsely accused of murdering a neighbor by the McGregor family, his nemesis. The old feud between the two families is based in part on the refusal of Sally Moore, also a resident of the Double D Ranch, to marry Alex McGregor. McGregor also wants to get his hands on the Double D. To this end, they even set fire to the ranch, in addition to the charge of murder. Then there's Mary Vance, the co-owner of the Double D, who is jealous because she thinks Jerry has a crush on Sally.
