Arizona, circa 1870. Tom Sabin adopts an authoritarian and tyrannical attitude in an attempt to establish a normal life for the city dwellers. Tom was once accused of murder by a mistake in his family, but his brother Johnny turned out to be the culprit. An invalid saloon owner exploits his disability as an excuse to get out of Tom's brutal regime in the city and hires revolver shooters to get rid of Tom. Three of them fail, but then the fourth shows up and that turns out to be Johnny, Tom's brother.
