El Paso Stampede plot

"BLAZING SIX-GUN ACTION!"

Federal marshal Rocky Lane saddles his famous horse 'Black Jack' and heads for El Paso near the Mexican border to investigate cattle thefts during the Spanish-American War. Rocky takes a job with the food merchant Nugget Clark and learns that Nugget's permanent assistant Josh Bailey passes on information about livestock transport to local dentist Mason 'Doc' Ramsey. Doc turns out to be secretly working closely with Floyd Garnett, the leader of a gang of cattle thieves. When Doc and Floyd steal livestock from a Nugget transport, Rocky follows them to their hideout. Rocky finds there that the cattle thieves have kidnapped Nugget's daughter Alice.
