Dead or Alive plot
Dave Wyatt is a ranger who poses as a bandit to infiltrate Clint Yackey's (Bennett) gang in order to capture the reward. Tex Haines (Ritter), aka the Idaho Kid, also wants this reward and sets a trap for Yackey's gang. However, Dave is unmasked and captured by the bandits and Tex by law enforcement. When they hear that they are being hanged, they decide to work together.
