Gils Brandon and his nefarious friends buy the ghost town of El Dorado, which has a population explosion when gold is found. When Gils gets more and more troubled by those friends, his twin brother Buck saves him just before he is killed. Seeing the resemblance between the two, the sheriff appoints Buck to become his deputy and help his brother clear up the lawlessness in the city.
