Tom Wade, aka 'Cheyenne Tommy', is an agent of the 'Cattleman's Protective Association'. He poses as an outlaw to gain the trust of cattle thieves in hopes of putting an end to their activities. When Cheyenne Tommy is on the trail of a particularly brutal and dangerous band of cattle thieves, he hires his beautiful assistant Sally Lane to work at a ranch owned by Rollins. He suspects that Rollins is the mastermind behind the cattle thefts. Cheyenne Tommy, along with his loyal friend 'Dopey' Andrews, rob a stagecoach with money to pay for the cattle stolen on Rollins' orders. Meanwhile, Rollins doesn't trust Sally because of her many questions and he takes her hostage.
