Carolina Moon plot
"A RODEO STAR OF THE WEST... becomes a shooting star... way down in Carolina!"
Gene Autry and Frog Millhouse run into Carline Stanhope in town. She has come to town with her father, Colonel Stanhope, to enter her horse for the rodeo competition. The two hope to be able to pay off their home in Carolina with the money they can win. Caroline ignores Autry's advice not to let the much too temperamental horse race, and the horse later sprains his leg. Meanwhile, her father has lost money in some bets to a bunch of criminals. Autry offers to help, but Caroline suspects him of collaborating with the criminals.
