Boss of Boomtown plot
"Roaring action behind blazing 45's! Range-punchers vs. claim-jumpers!"
Cavalry Sergeant Steve Hazard and Sergeant Jim Ward are constantly competing over women and horses. A day before their military service is over, a stagecoach carrying the soldiers' salary payments is robbed. Among the stagecoach passengers are Norton Brett, Dale Starr and Blain Cornwall. Dale Starr has inherited a gambling palace from her uncle, Norton Brett is a prominent mine owner and Blain Cornwall impersonates a chemical analyst, but in reality he is a secret agent of the Treasury Department. Jim and Steve and their eccentric friend Justus T. "Chatter-Box" Boxey cause some trouble at their goodbye party. Cornwall meets Steve by calling on him. Steve must help him investigate the stagecoach robbery and asks him to go incognito as an outlaw.
