John Carruthers, a government sheriff, is on his way to Yucca City to rid the city of Danti, the "dots" bandit. This bandit was hired by Malgrove, a seemingly respectable citizen of the town. Danti steals all supplies that enter the city in order to drive the inhabitants of their land. Beneath the land is the richest gold mine ever found.
