In 19th century America, settlers, Native Americans and outlaws are engaged in a fierce battle. The military wants to put an end to that. Army scout Tom Bridger, with the help of Pony Express way station manager Ed Marr and Army Captain Frank Carter, tries to end the illegal activities of rancher Rance Devlin and his henchmen, known as the 'Black Raiders'. Devlin wants to become a landowner at all costs.
