Beyond the Law plot

Ranchers along the California-Nevada border are harassed by the combined efforts of cattle thief leader Jack Slade and Brand, who runs the Protective Association. The rancher Ringold goes to the capital to ask for help. Help seems to come at short notice from Dan Wright and his loyal friend Jack-Knife, who want to pose as itinerant cowboys.
