Bandits of the West plot

"RANGE POWDERKEG! READY TO EXPLODE ON THE SPARK OF A SIX-GUN!"

US Marshal Rocky Lane learns of a plan to sabotage natural gas drilling in his Texas town. The rancher Bud Galloway and employer of Jeff Chadwick, who has just been released from prison, is the leader of the gang fighting the gas company, led by Joanne Collier. Galloway tampers with the gas line and kills an old man, blaming Chadwick. Galloway, suspecting Lane suspects him, hires the gunslinger Dutch Clyburn to kill both Lane and Chadwick. Meanwhile, Lane and his loyal friend Nugget Clark learn that Galloway is accusing Chadwick of the murder of Joanne Collier's father.
