"GUNBLAZE GLORY! SCREAMING INDIANS! SILVER!...to avenge a woman---ten desperate men plunged through the molten desert!"
Sheriff Bill Cummings leads a vigilante who is after Apache Jack. Apache Jack has murdered the wife of one of the vigilantes and leads the pursuers into Native American territory. The men find a rich vein of silver in the area and suddenly some of them don't feel much like a further chase, preferring to return to make a claim for the area. Cummings prevents that at first, but the next morning Eaton has disappeared without a trace, and so are all the horses. Then the men are ambushed in which Cluff is killed. The rest are trapped and ambushed by an invisible enemy.
