As Três Marias plot

In a fierce vendetta rooted in a rejected love, the men of the Capadocio family are gruesomely murdered. Filomena loses her husband and three sons, but she refuses to shed even one tear before the murders are avenged. A woman should not use violence herself, but it is possible through an intermediary. Filomena's three daughters each go in search of an assassin. Maria Francisca, the eldest, manages to snare Zé das Cobras, a snake tamer (and eater) who has stopped talking to women since his mother's death. Maria Rosa approaches Capitán Tenoro, a heroic cop who hunts mad dogs. Maria Pia, the youngest and the toughest, makes a deal with the dangerous killer known as 'The Devil's Horse'; she helps him escape from prison in exchange for his services. Revenge seems to be going well, but Fate has very different plans.
