Against All Odds plot
Chick Newton is a cowboy; his friend Bill Warner gets into trouble when he is accused of murdering his uncle. Chick uncovers a plot where Bill is supposed to disappear to prevent the uncle from having to pay all kinds of arrears and to collect insurance money. Chick tries to solve the case before his friend is hanged.
