Torpedo Boat plot
"Fighting Thrill Saga of the Heroes of the Fleet!"
Skinner Barnes and Tommy Whelan are transporting their motorboat with their car when they decide to chase Jane Townsend's limousine so they can talk to her. Later that day, while testing their motorboat on a lake, Skimmer and Tommy are engulfed by a wave from Townsend's ship. When they go to the nearby Townsend shipbuilding factory to complain, Skimmer discovers that the manager of this factory is his old friend Ralph Andrews. Later, when Skimmer and Tommy collide with Jane's boat during a race, they blame her for their loss. Despite this, Ralph hires both of them to help improve the speed of motorboats.
