The Navy Comes Through plot
Michael "Mike" Mallory and Lieutenant Thomas L. "Tom" Sands, both of Irish descent, board Captain McCall's American warship. Mike and Tom are part of a group of gunners, including Australian Joe "Babe" Duttson, Brooklyn's Richard "Dutch" Kroner, and Austrian-born Pat Tarriba. Despite their different backgrounds and temperaments, they will have to work well as a team to compete against the Germans. During various patrols, the gunners managed to take out various German submarines. One day they loot a supply ship from the Nazis and plan to use it against their own navy.
