During the Second World War, Lieutenant Donald D. Blackburn narrowly escapes his attackers in the Philippine jungle. His journey through the tropical forest soon turns into a survival quest, where he has to deal with the dangers of nature. Blackburn faces hunger, disease and the constant threat of enemy fire.
