Rain plot

When Danny dies at the front, his sister Amy decides to hand over her German Shepherd dog Rain to the army. The animal is being trained to support the military in Vietnam. Soldier Holland is assigned Rain, but notices during the training that the beast is unhappy. However, he manages to develop a close relationship with Rain and after the intensive training the duo leaves for Vietnam.
