Le Franciscain de Bourges plot

The Toledano brothers are resistance fighters who are arrested in 1943. They are imprisoned and tortured in Bourges prison. Alfred Stanke, a German nurse and a Franciscan brother, comes to care for and cheer them up. He takes on the Gestapo and is very devoted to the brothers, so he is strongly tempted to let them escape.
