Queimada plot
"The man who sells war."
A secret agent of the British government arrives on an Antillean island to stir up a revolution against the local colonial administration, because of the British trade interests in cane sugar. Led by a native, the governor is killed, but this revolutionary - seen by his people as a national hero - refuses participation in the government and has a front man appointed by the Briton. As a result, he suddenly becomes a traitor to the fatherland from savior of the fatherland. Ten years later, the revolution against the English occupation breaks out.
