Kako Je Poceo Rat Na Mom Otoku plot
A few months after Croatia's secession from Yugoslavia, there are still military barracks on Yugoslav territory, housing Croatian soldiers with no place to go. A garrison is located on a small island and is commanded by Major Aleksa Milosavljevic. The garrison is besieged by local militias and Major Milosavljevic threatens to blow up all ammunition, losing half the island. During the stalemate of the ceasefire, art historian Blaz Gajski arrives from Zagreb to get his son out of the barracks and out of harm's way.
