Hanna's War plot
When the young and idealistic Aniko Senesh, as a Jewish woman, no longer feels at home in Budapest in the late 1930s, she decides to go to Palestine to work in a kibbutz and make herself useful. She changes her name to Hanna and quickly feels at home. When the war breaks out, Hanna returns to Hungary in the service of the British Air Force. Her task will mainly be to rescue British pilots, but also to help the resistance. Things go wrong once in Hungary. Hanna is arrested and imprisoned. But Hanna doesn't just give up on her resistance.
