"THRILLS...ACTION...Somewhere in the Pacific"
If Sgt. Jonathan 'Jon' Davis (Richard Arlen) begins gunner training when his old rival Sgt. 'Foxy' Pattis (Chester Morris) to be his teacher. Although Jon is thwarted by Foxy, he gains his 'wings', soon rises to lieutenant commander and eventually becomes a pilot. After some time, Foxy joins him as the new tail gunner and the roles are reversed. When their plane has to make an emergency landing in enemy territory during a mission, they have to rely on each other to get the plane ready to fly again before the Japanese soldiers reach them.
