Bruce McPherson is a former action movie star whose career was relaunched by the hit TV series 'The Ghosts of the New World'. After a freak accident in the season finale, the network pulls the plug on the series. It's a big blow, but Bruce manages to find a mysterious investor on the island of Cyprus and convinces old colleagues to pick up where they left off with a new series. For the first episode, they turn their attention to the infamous Hotel Gula, a luxurious residence that closed 25 years ago when more than a hundred people died unexpectedly. What begins as a normal program quickly turns into a very real and terrifying journey into the unknown.
