"Tell someone your darkest secret and they own you."
In a world where old money and a handful of families rule, young businessman Harrison French, from a poor neighborhood, tries to work his way up the establishment. He's set his sights on a real estate deal that will give him access to the circles of William Ashburry, the finer points of old money and power. After Harrison's deal falls through, he is involved in a car accident. He decides to keep the incident a secret and loses control of his life and Inspector Scofield gets his sights on him.
