Out of the Darkness plot
"No one is safe when a madman slips into the night!"
Ed Zigo, a dedicated police officer and detective, is asked to assist in the investigation of the serial killer 'Son of Sam'. Although Zigo knows that there will probably be a promotion for him, he declines the offer, because he wants to stay close to his ailing wife Ann. However, after heart surgery, Ann dies and Ed collapses. By chance he comes face to face with 'Son of Sam'.
