Omae no Tsumi o Jihaku Shiro plot

Koji Uda comes from a family steeped in politics. His father Seijiro is a powerful city councilor and he is an authoritarian type. Koji works for his father as his secretary. One day, Seijiro's granddaughter is kidnapped. The perpetrator demands that he confess to his crime at a press conference the next day. That is the demand to release Seijiro's granddaughter, but Koji's father refuses. When he confronts his father, Seijiro does not reveal what the crime is about. Koji decides to find out the truth himself to save his niece.
