Before meeting George, Sonny was just a lost drifter with a troubled past, moving from town to town in search of work. After saving George's life from a murderous robber in an alleyway, Sonny is allowed to live with him on the farm and work as a mechanic. He settles there quickly and makes himself useful everywhere. But then he meets Larissa, George's seductive wife. She has a mysterious past and the two are attracted to each other. Sonny and Larissa embark on a passionate affair, then hatch a horrific plan to take George's life in cold blood so they can be together.
