My Mother's Secret plot
When teacher Lori Colson finds out she's pregnant, she and her husband David have normal concerns. It is not easy to raise a happy and healthy child in a harsh world. But when Lori's mother Amanda learns that Lori is pregnant, she opens a book and reveals that Lori has been adopted. Lori loves her mother, and her deceased father, but like any adopted child, she wants to learn more about her biological parents. What she doesn't realize, however, is that her search leads to a life-threatening challenge.
